Southside Toyota are platinum sponsors of Mt Gravatt Vultures AFC (MTGAFC).

The club competes in the premier Qld competitions for men’s football, the QAFL. They also have 18 junior and youth teams competing within AFL SEQ League, with a further 4 to start competition soon in the Superstars program for 5 – 6 year olds.

The Mt Gravatt Vultures football field has recently been renamed to “Southside Toyota Oval” and there is special sponsor day (Southside Toyota Day) dedicated to Southside Toyota that is held on the 31st of July. The club’s top girls team now wear jerseys sporting the Southside Toyota branding and on June 11 the first indigenous jersey (designed by one of the senior players) will be worn when the girls run out to celebrate indigenous round. This has been made possible by the support of Southside Toyota.

We are proud that our support for Mt Gravatt Vultures will go into supporting grassroots football to ensure the longevity of the club well into the future.

Mt Gravatt Bowls Club is one of Brisbane’s Premier Clubs with an eight rink, all weather undercover bowling green with a retractable shade system providing protection from the sun during Summer. Located in the heart of Upper Mt Gravatt at 1873 Logan Road, the Club welcomes everyone who would like to play bowls or just have some fun with friends for a game of barefoot bowls.

​This year, Southside Toyota are supporting the 2021 Annual Battle of the Rock Bands hosted by Claivaux MacKillop College. Battle of the Rock Bands will take place on the 7th and 8th October 2021 from 6.30pm to 10.30pm. Twenty bands from local secondary schools will perform rock songs with more than 100 talented student musicians on stage on two consecutive nights.

Griffith University’s Nathan campus welcome you to take on the bitumen to the bush in the all-terrain scenic challenge taking part throughout the Toohey Forest.
